ICAS Assesment Tutoring

Your child has what it takes to stand out. With the right ICAS assessment practice and a specialist tutor by their side, they can walk into test week with confidence and the results to match.

At Little Geniuses, our tailored online ICAS tutoring programs are built around every student's targets, timeline and understanding gaps, giving them everything they need to perform at their absolute best.

ICAS is not a standard school test. To achieve Distinction-level results, students need targeted preparation that goes well beyond classroom content.

How Our ICAS Assessment Practice Method Works

01

Diagnose

We start with a full diagnostic ICAS assessment practice session to identify your child's current level, strengths, and the specific gaps holding them back.

02

Plan

Our Education Planner designs a personalised program mapped to your child's target score, chosen subjects, and the time available before their ICAS test.

03

Practise

Weekly 1-to-1 sessions combine targeted skill-building with regular ICAS assessment practice tests, simulating real test conditions from the very start.

04

Review

Every practice paper is marked and reviewed in detail. Your child understands not just what they got wrong, but exactly why.

05

Re-test

Progress is tracked continuously. Regular re-testing confirms growth, rebuilds confidence, and ensures your child is on track to hit their goal.

Our approach is simple, structured, and built for results.

ICAS Tutoring FAQs

How long should we book ICAS tutoring before the test?

For best results, we recommend starting 3 months before your child's ICAS test date. This gives enough time to complete a full diagnostic, build skills systematically, and complete multiple rounds of ICAS assessment practice with tutor guidance. If you're starting closer to the test, we can also help.

Can the same tutor cover multiple ICAS subjects?

It depends on your child's chosen subjects. Where a tutor specialises in more than one of your chosen subjects, we'll match them with one specialist. For subjects outside that tutor's focus, we'll pair your child with the most suitable specialist.

Are the sessions live or recorded?

All sessions are live, 1-to-1, and run in real time online. There are no pre-recorded lessons. Your child's tutor is present, responsive, and adapting the session to your child as they go.

Do you provide official ICAS practice tests?

We provide high-quality ICAS assessment practice tests that closely mirror the format, difficulty, and question style of the official ICAS papers. These are used during weekly sessions and are marked by your child's tutor with detailed written feedback.

Does ICAS tutoring also help with NAPLAN or selective school exams?

Absolutely. Many of the skills built through ICAS preparation directly support performance in other key assessments. Our tutoring for NAPLAN, entrance exam tutor programs, and scholarship preparation tutoring programs are all available as standalone options or in combination with ICAS support.

What year levels do you tutor for ICAS?

We tutor students from Year 2 through Year 10 across all ICAS subjects. Whether your child is sitting their first ICAS paper or targeting their highest score yet, we have a program and a specialist tutor ready for them.
